Thursday 15 July
Honestly at this moment, I really don’t remember what I did on Thursday. I put all of the numbers of the apartment into a spread sheet with different columns for different questions we needed to ask. Maintenance, total price, m2 , and such. Then we fussed with trying to print it from my computer. Even with the printer hooked up directly to my computer, I still couldn’t print. After I sent it in an email to Olga, I did a software update and it turns out I just had to install something. After that, we went to 3 different apartments. I liked one that was new. It was on a less chaotic side street, in front of an embassy (I don’t remember which, I think Germany). Oh yeah then Olga and I went to a movie at the art theater. It was called the last station and was about Leo Tolsoy and his wife Sofia, the author of War and Peace. It was just how he inspired this whole movement and so then people were trying to control his life, one guy wanted him to give the rights of his books to the people because that is what the whole point of his ideas were, and then his wife didn’t want to give that up because it would be on what her children would live. It was in English with subtitles. I thought it was really good, of course though it had to have the ubiquitous sex scene that was altogether nasty and unnecessary. But I love going to the movies so I was happy.
